Email Template System

Project Abstract
The motivation behind this work comes from the repetitive and error-prone nature of writing standardised email responses for lectures at university, in other workplaces, as well as other scenarios in everyday life. The main aim is to streamline the email-writing process by creating a system which allows users to store email templates they are able to reuse, with placeholders where the user will be asked to enter in key information (for example the name and coursework mark of a student) before sending each email using that template. It also allows for users to have chunks of the template that can be repeated as many times as they like before the email is sent. I have designed the system as a website using Angular as a framework with a MySQL database to store the data. The system has now been produced and can successfully generate complete, well-formatted emails significantly reducing the time and mental effort required from users to send an email. The contribution of this work lies in demonstrating how templates, using a simple text, editor can reduce time and effort and improve efficiency in routine daily communication tasks for lots of different people.
