Technology in Sports Management

Project Abstract

This project centres on the creation of a sports web application, developed in Laravel, aimed at facilitating league management. Grassroots sports often face challenges in organisation due to factors like limited resources and manpower. Moreover, the burden on league administrators and team coaches can be overwhelming. Therefore, this application is meticulously crafted to alleviate the stress faced by organisers, enabling them to divert their focus towards other crucial aspects of league operations. To streamline the process and relieve administrators from tedious tasks such as scheduling game dates, the application incorporates automation features. Users have the capability to create a league, specifying the league type, the number of participating teams, and the start date. Subsequently, the application autonomously generates all game schedules, significantly reducing the workload on organisers and ensuring smooth operations.By providing a user-friendly platform with intuitive automation features, this application aims to revolutionise grassroots sports management. It not only enhances efficiency and organisation but also fosters a more enjoyable experience for league participants and stakeholders. Through innovative solutions and user-focused design, the application strives to empower sports communities and elevate the overall standard of league management.
