Artificial Intelligence Application in Tumor Pathology

Project Abstract

Tumors can be difficult to identify and treat, often requiring a combination of imaging, microscopic examination of tissue, and genetic analysis. However, these methods can sometimes yield varying results between individuals. Artificial intelligence (AI) is now being utilized to improve the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors. AI offers a fresh perspective on analyzing tumor cells, leading to more consistent diagnoses and reducing discrepancies among medical professionals. AI plays a crucial role in improving the accuracy of diagnoses, easing the burden on doctors, and personalizing treatment plans. By leveraging digital tools and AI technology, healthcare providers can efficiently and precisely evaluate tumor cells. Additionally, AI can forecast patient outcomes and recommend tailored treatment strategies based on individual needs. Will try using different AI algorithms, like CNNs, FCNs, RNNs, and GANs, which are like the brains behind the analysis. They help classify what’s in the pictures and even predict what might happen next. By using all these different methods, we were able to get a really good understanding of how AI is changing the way we study tumors, which can ultimately help doctors provide better care for patients with cancer.
