Training program web application

Project Abstract

My main motivation for this project was that I felt that the world was becoming more unfit and suffering from the affects of obesity as time progressed. This is where my idea to make an automated training program came in and when I decided that I wanted to make an application that would try and entice users to use training programs that were specialised specifically for them. The main aim of this study is to develop an web application that empowers users to input their preferences and receive personalised workout programs tailored to their needs. I found that this was an area that hadn’t been explored by many, as most training applications required input and feedback by a trained personal trainer. I found that by the end of this project I was able to create semi-optimal training programs from some user input, that would set them in a good direction when starting their training or as they’re training progressed. This showed to be a positive as I believe it would motivate beginners as it allowed them to take control of their training and allowed them to jump into the world of fitness and receive all the benefits that come with this.
