DESIGN OF AN OPERATING SYSTEM FOR BLOCKCHAIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY TECHNOLOGY
Project Abstract
Blockchain technology is causing a revolutionary transformation in computing. It offers a decentralized, immutable ledger that completely revolutionizes data management and transaction processing. However, the lack of operating systems specifically designed for blockchain and cryptocurrency technology hampers its full potential, hindering further innovation and widespread adoption. Without dedicated platforms, the seamless integration and optimization of blockchain-based applications become challenging, impeding the scalability, security, and efficiency of the entire ecosystem. Therefore, the development and implementation of specialized operating systems tailored to meet the unique demands of blockchain technology would unlock new possibilities, enabling the realization of its full transformative power.Our initial report provides a research on blockchain technology , including consensus mechanisms, smart contracts and Ethereum along with its programming language Solidity.Additionally, it discusses current blockchain OS notions, project objectives, methodologies, as well as the component that will be implemented.We aim to design a operating system for blockchain with a focus on implementing the user interface component.This operating system will improve the blockchain’s security and give programmers powerful tools for creating decentralised applications (dApps) and creating smart contracts easily.
