A Tool to Discover Patterns in Blood Datasets
Project Abstract
This research project focuses on developing a data visualization website for analysing health-related data, specifically utilizing the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) dataset. The aim is to provide an interactive interface that allows researchers and users to visualize and explore correlations between multiple variables without the need to upload data each time. The project involves developing the NVisualiser Web Application using Java, PHP, and the Laravel framework, along with a MySQL database for storing and managing the NHANES datasets. A Python scraping tool called NHANESLoader is also developed to automate the retrieval of NHANES datasets. The project methodology includes utilizing various technologies and applying correlation methodologies to generate meaningful visualizations and insights from the NHANES dataset. The objective is to improve transparency, facilitate informed decision-making, and contribute to advancements in healthcare research. The project aims to provide researchers with a convenient and efficient way to access and analyse the NHANES dataset, ultimately leading to better patient care and outcomes.
