Building a University IT Services Chatbot

Project Abstract

In todays era where digital slotions are heavlily relied on and advancements in human – computer interactions are more important than ever . The project focuses on the�? the implementation of a chatbot for IT support at the university to combat the growing demand for assistance from the IT department. The project utilizes natural language processing and intent recognition to create a chatbot that processes user requests with high accuracy. The methodology focuses on the development and testing of intent recognition classifiers, which involves trying different classifier algorithms to find the best performing one. This is an important part of the chatbot as it helps recognize the intent behind the user’s queries. The findings of this project are significant as the chatbot has proven to be able to handle different kinds of inquiries with high accuracy. This shows that it can reduce the workload of the IT department and provide high-quality assistance to students as well.
