Weather and Music Alarm Clock Application in Android

Project Abstract

In this project, an alarm clock application is developed in Kotlin and XML for use on Android mobile devices. The alarm clock app will play different songs when the alarm rings, based on the type of weather that is forecast for the day and it does this by making GET requests to certain third-party music and weather APIs. With this alarm system, the project aims to make the alarm experience both more informative as well as interesting by offering an alternative to having the same alarm ringtone each morning. The project also explores the process of designing and developing this Android application using the Android SDK.
