Project Abstract

Wales’s curriculum went through a recent change, and there is a scarcity of additional teaching resources available. Moreover, the prevalence of mental health disorders is on the rise, highlighting the significance of health and wellness awareness. This led me to develop an educational tool that would support the Health and Wellbeing Area of Learning and Experience of the new Welsh Curriculum, with a particular focus on the age range of 8-9 years. An additional objective of this educational instrument is to foster coding ability through the incorporation of coding exercises. This educational tool is a Laravel-based web application. Overall, this educational tool promotes coding skills in children aged 8 to 9 while attempting to meet the requirements of the new Curriculum of Wales.
