AI-enabled digital Twin of patients and Hospitals for better personalized treatment and optimise the process

Project Abstract

Digital twin technology is designed to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. Its popularity has been growing in recent years, especially in the healthcare field. The study proposes using the digital twin in a patient and hospital environment to give personalised treatment for a patient by analysing the past, present and predicted data, applying artificial intelligence to it, and extracting insights to assist make better medical decisions. The technology could additionally be used to monitor and track assets, whether movable or immovable, in a closed environment, and to locate them in real-time. We could also use the data to create a simulation of the assets, determine the use of a hospital or health environment, the occupancy rate, and other information to optimise resources and enhance the process. This implementation will also include safety measures in the event of unanticipated circumstances.Physical sensor installation, procuring wearable devices, data integration, and data protection are only a few of the challenges expected in this implementation.
