Tracking Progress: Implementing Monitoring Techniques in Software Development Initiatives in India

Project Abstract

This research proposal aims to investigate the implementation of monitoring techniques insoftware development initiatives in India. The software development landscape in India is rapidlyevolving, with a growing number of projects being undertaken by both domestic and internationalfirms. However, tracking progress and ensuring project success remain significant challenges. Theprimary objective of this study is to explore how effective monitoring techniques can be integratedinto software development projects to enhance project management and increase the likelihood ofsuccessful outcomes.The methodology will involve a comprehensive literature review to examine existing research onmonitoring techniques and software development practices, particularly focusing on studiesrelated to the Indian context. Data collection methods will include surveys and interviews withindustry professionals to gather insights into current practices and challenges.Expected outcomes include the identification of suitable monitoring techniques tailored to theIndian software development context, along with recommendations for their implementation. Theresearch findings are expected to contribute to improving project management practices insoftware development initiatives in India, ultimately leading to more efficient project delivery andenhanced competitiveness in the global software market.
