Using Large Language Models to Aid Interview Preparation

Project Abstract

The aim of this project was to develop a novel application that uses large language models (LLM?s) to assist in the preparation and practice of job interviews. Especially those held virtually. Interviews are a crucial component of the hiring process, with professionals in both psychology underscoring the significance of confidence and preparation in determining an individual’s likelihood of success.Given the diversity in interview techniques, there?s a need for a trailered solution. Large language models have exploded in popularity and performance in the last few years, trained on vast datasets they are able to generate coherent and contextually relevant text. These models, based on transformers can not only understand language but the surrounding context.
