The School Management System (SMS) is a project created to meet the urgent need for more efficient operations in educational institutions. This abstract introduces the School Management System (SMS), a project designed to address the pressing need for streamlined operations in educational institutions. Motivated by recognising the challenges schools encounter in daily operations, the SMS aims to automate administrative tasks, thereby saving valuable time and resources. The project’s objectives include designing a user-friendly interface, implementing high-level features such as managing coursework, assignments, and attendance, and arranging parent-teacher meetings and one-on-one meetings between parents and students. The SMS aims to revolutionise school management practices by drawing insights from background research and leveraging innovative technologies like mobile applications. Ultimately, the SMS heralds a new era in school management. It embodies a forward-thinking ethos, committed to enhancing efficiency and ultimately driving improved educational outcomes. With the SMS at their disposal, educational institutions are primed to navigate the complexities of the modern landscape, paving the way for a brighter future in education.
