Machine Learning using Python and its Influence on Healthcare Analytics
Project Abstract
Motivation for this project stems from a desire to research how the use of Python and machine learning can assist in making healthcare data simple for healthcare professionals to manage and analyse. Big data makes working with healthcare data difficult because they come from many sources, such as doctor?��s notes, heart rate monitor watches and X-ray images. However, machine learning offers many models that can be used to assist healthcare professionals in managing and analysing this data. Python, alongside its packages, has been chosen as the programming language to study because it adheres to needs of creating machine learning algorithms. The main aim of this project is to discover how machine learning using Python has influenced healthcare analytics. The method used is analysing articles based on themes: machine learning for data analysis, reasons for Python?��s popularity in data science and machine learning, and research into current healthcare data tools made using Python that uses machine learning.
