3D Chess Pieces Detection, Identification and Playing

Project Abstract

I chose this work because I am interested in AI gaming. I believe AI has the potential to beat human player in most of games. And first step of anti-cheat is letting AI knows how to play games so they can better detect cheats. This work is about detection, identification and playing chess. There are many more board games and card games. A better way of detection and identification will allow anti-cheat real-life be possible. AI playing will allow people to play a game when no one around. And allow anti-cheat to go more smoothly. The study is about a better way of detection and identification of chess pieces. To be more precise. And design AI to play against or suggest moves.Video detection and identification are way more accurate than single picture, but video basically means analysing multiple pictures for a single scenario. This leads to a processing time problem. Significantly more amount of processing needed.Feeding data to learning programme maybe result in defeating leading chess player like AlphaGo did.World knows now AI gaming is possible as identification and playing advancing. Very important for people have social problems also a chance to play.
