Building a University IT Services Chatbot

Project Abstract

Abstract:Motivation and Background:The desire to improve academic IT services’ efficiency, accessibility, and user experience prompted the “Building a university IT services chatbot” initiative. Universities struggle to manage and meet the different IT needs of students, faculty, and staff as technology becomes more prevalent in higher education. Inefficient or inaccessible help desks or online portals can frustrate and prolong technological concerns.Creating a university IT chatbot has many benefits. First, its easy-to-use interface lets students and staff ask for help and fix IT issues in real time, lowering response times and enhancing satisfaction. Chatbots also offer 24/7 support, allowing users to get help whenever they need it. Additionally, using natural language processing and machine learning techniques, the chatbot may learn and improve its responses, providing more accurate and tailored guidance. The “Building a university IT services chatbot” initiative seeks to streamline IT assistance, improve user satisfaction, and create a more efficient and productive academic environment.
