Evaluation and Fostering a Culture of Cybersecurity Awareness in Organizations

Project Abstract

This project aims to meet the urgent need for improved cyber security awareness training, specifically targeting workers in small and medium companies (SMEs). Considering the growing dependence on technology in today’s business landscape, and SMEs face substantial cybersecurity hazards as a result of their limited resources and vulnerabilities. This project aims to develop and execute a customised cyber security awareness training programme that is especially customised for SMEs through the selected LMS platform. The primary objective of the project is to evaluate the efficacy of this training programme in enhancing workers’ understanding, attitudes, and behaviours pertaining to cyber security. The study will use a quantitative technique to accomplish its goals by conducting needs assessments, programme formulation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The expected result comprises the identification of areas where knowledge is lacking, the creation of a tailored training regimen, and the enhancement of workers’ cyber security behaviours. This study has the potential to improve the cyber security of small and medium-sized enterprises and provide significant knowledge in the field of cyber security education and training.
