Project Abstract

This project creates an easy to use and accessible method for digitalising super 8 film, which was commonly used between the mid 60s and 90s, where it was replaced by VHS. Combining both hardware and software design, as well as historical preservation techniques, to provide an open source option for film digitalisation.
